Specifications of the iCassette – Human Papillomavirus 16 & 18

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a significant cause of cervical cancer, with HPV16 and HPV18 being the most common high-risk genotypes associated with this disease. Early detection of these genotypes is crucial for preventing the progression of HPV-related conditions and enabling timely medical interventions.

The iCassette 16 & 18 Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Genotypes Detection Kit is an advanced diagnostic tool designed to accurately identify these high-risk HPV types in cervical exfoliated cells, reproductive tract secretions, and saliva. Utilizing real-time multiplex PCR technology, this kit ensures precise and reliable results, making it an essential component of HPV screening programs.

The iCassette uses a magnetic bead transfer structure and process technology, as well as a material distributed mixing device structure. It is compatible with the Galaxy: Nano, Lite and Pro. The test can be performed on demand with no minimum batch size requirement, which is advantageous for clinics and hospitals that require rapid results. The fully automated sample magnetic beads extraction to qPCR process provides results in one and a half hours with minimal hands-on time, increasing laboratory efficiency and reducing patient waiting times.

The iCassette HPV 16 & 18 Diagnostic Kit is suitable with cervical exfoliated cells, reproductive tract secretions, and saliva. It is stored at 2-8°C and includes internal process control to ensure the accuracy and reliability of each test performed.

This detection kit supports healthcare providers in the early identification of HPV16 and HPV18 infections, enabling better management and treatment of patients at risk for HPV-related diseases. Its accuracy and automation make it a valuable tool in the ongoing effort to reduce the impact of cervical cancer and other HPV-associated conditions.
