Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep – Successful Implementation of α-Thalassemia Workflow

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of visiting Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep in order to assist them in implementing a new workflow for the identification of α-thalassemia gene mutations. This workflow combines the automation of the DynaBlot Heat with the precision of the α-Globin StripAssay from Viennalab. 

Together, these technologies enable the simultaneous detection of up to 11 different mutations or deletions in the α-globin gene cluster. Ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and reproducibility in genetic diagnostics.
