This kit in detail
Description
Pasteurella multocida is a Gram-negative bacterium that lives in the upper respiratory tracts of many animals, particularly cats and dogs. It causes pasteurellosis, a zoonotic disease transmitted to humans through animal bites, scratches, or close contact. Infection results in a local wound infection at the site of injury, which can progress to a severe soft tissue infection. Individuals with underlying conditions are at risk of developing more severe forms of this disease.
