The SwiftX™ Virus Extraction Kit is engineered for rapid and reliable virus extraction from human serum and plasma. Its one-step reverse-purification method enables efficient isolation of high-quality RNA and DNA from both viral and bacterial pathogens, ensuring clean, PCR- and NGS-ready nucleic acids for professional diagnostic workflows. With validated performance across multiple clinically relevant organisms and excellent sensitivity and specificity, the kit supports laboratories and point-of-care settings that require fast turnaround and consistent extraction results.
The kit includes Buffer TLS, Proteinase K, and paramagnetic Beads A, each optimized to support efficient viral and bacterial lysis, nuclease inactivation, and removal of particulate matter during extraction.
Validated across multiple viral and bacterial pathogens, including Dengue virus, West Nile virus, Chikungunya virus, Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever virus, Yellow Fever virus, Usutu virus, and Leptospira. The kit demonstrates strong diagnostic performance, achieving 98.04% sensitivity and 100% specificity. CE-IVD marked for manual extraction workflows, it delivers consistent, high-quality results in both laboratory and point-of-care environments.
Reagents are stored at 2–8 °C and remain stable for up to three months after first opening, ensuring reliable performance and simplified inventory management throughout their shelf life.
Paired extraction studies were run on clinical and spiked serum/plasma: SwiftX™ Virus vs. a routine reference method, followed by pathogen-specific (RT-)qPCR.
SwiftX™ was validated in multiple studies across six tropical arboviruses: Crimea Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHFV), Chikungunya (CHIKV), Dengue (DENV), Yellow Fever (YFV), West Nille Virus (WNV), Usutu Virus (USUV) plus leptospira. High diagnostic accuracy. Performance vs. reference: 98% sensitivity and 100% specificity.
