The EUROArray SwiftX-traction kit delivers fast and efficient DNA extraction from a wide range of clinical sample types, including fungi, bacteria, parasites, viruses, and human epithelial cells. Designed for professional laboratories, it combines rapid heat-lysis chemistry with paramagnetic particle technology to produce high-quality DNA suitable for downstream molecular analysis. Optimized for compatibility with EUROArray assays, the kit provides a streamlined workflow for consistent DNA purification across routine diagnostic environments.
EUROArray SwiftX-traction
EUROArray SwiftX-traction is developed for fast and reliable DNA extraction from a broad range of clinical specimen types. Designed for professional laboratory use, the kit isolates high-quality DNA from fungi, bacteria, parasites, viruses, and human epithelial cells using a workflow that combines targeted cell capture with rapid heat-lysis and magnetic particle technology. This approach enables efficient DNA purification while minimizing manual handling steps and processing time.
The kit includes Buffer EN, Buffer EAL, Proteinase K, and paramagnetic Beads A, each optimized for a specific function in the extraction workflow. Buffer EN stabilizes biological cells and facilitates binding of cells to the magnetic particles during the capture step. Buffer EAL provides efficient lysis of viruses, bacteria, protozoa, and human cells, while Proteinase K enhances lysis efficiency for more resilient materials such as fungal cells or keratinized tissues. Paramagnetic Beads A enable species-independent cell capture and the removal of cellular debris following heat lysis, resulting in clean DNA extracts suitable for downstream molecular analysis.
Reagents are stored at 2–8 °C and remain stable until the indicated expiry date. After first use, the kit can be used for up to three months, ensuring reliable performance throughout routine laboratory workflows.
EUROArray SwiftX-traction supports DNA extraction from:

These specimen types are commonly used in molecular diagnostic workflows and are compatible with EUROArray assays.
EUROArray SwiftX-traction supports several extraction workflows depending on the sample type.
Place sample material in a microcentrifuge tube
Add Buffer EAL
Add Proteinase K and Beads A
Incubate at 60 °C for 10 minutes
Incubate at 95 °C for 10 minutes
Place tube in a magnetic stand
Use the supernatant directly for EUROArray analysis
Mix urine with Buffer EN and Beads A
Incubate 3 minutes at room temperature
Capture particles using a magnetic stand and discard supernatant
Add Buffer EAL and resuspend beads
Incubate 10 minutes at 95 °C
Place tube in magnetic stand and collect supernatant for analysis
Combine cytology sample with Buffer EN and Beads A
Incubate 3 minutes at room temperature
Capture cells using a magnetic stand and discard supernatant
Perform an additional wash with Buffer EN
Add Buffer EAL and resuspend beads
Incubate 10 minutes at 95 °C
Place tube in magnetic stand and use supernatant for EUROArray analysis
Extracted DNA can be stored for up to 7 days at 4–8 °C or up to 4 weeks at −20 °C if not immediately used for analysis.
