About the TRUPCR® Tissue DNA Extraction Kit

This kit follows a proven 4-step method:

  1. Enzymatic Lysis – A proteinase K/SDS lysis buffer breaks down cell membranes and releases DNA

  2. Binding – DNA binds to a silica membrane under chaotropic conditions with ethanol

  3. Washing – Efficient wash steps remove proteins, salts, and PCR inhibitors

  4. Elution – Purified DNA is eluted in a user-defined volume (20–100 µL)

The process is optimized for recovery of DNA longer than 30 kb and yields highly pure DNA suitable for PCR, real-time PCR, and NGS applications.
